Crystal Luna, DMD

I believe your smile is a reflection of who you are. It can influence your confidence, how you connect with others, and how you engage with the world around you. To me, dentistry is about more than creating a healthy smile—it’s about helping patients feel confident, comfortable, and ready to pursue what matters most to them.

One of the things I value most about dentistry is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with my patients. I want every person I treat to feel heard, informed, and comfortable throughout their care. Whether we are restoring a single tooth or transforming an entire smile, my goal is to provide thoughtful, comprehensive treatment that is tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.

Education & Advanced Training

Chicago has always been home. I was born and raised in the suburbs outside the city and attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for both my undergraduate education and dental school, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

After dental school, I continued my education through multiple advanced training programs with an emphasis on surgical and esthetic dentistry. My additional training has focused on areas including:

• Implant dentistry
• Socket preservation
• Cosmetic dentistry
• Surgical dentistry
• Comprehensive treatment planning

I’m especially drawn to procedures that combine precision, artistry, and problem-solving. Implant and cosmetic dentistry allow me to consider not only the health and function of a smile, but also how the final result fits the individual patient.

My approach is always comprehensive. I want patients to understand their options, feel comfortable asking questions, and have confidence in the treatment plan we create together.

A Personalized Approach to Dentistry

No two patients are exactly alike, and I don’t believe their dental care should be either.

My goal is to develop treatment plans that balance health, function, esthetics, and each patient’s personal priorities. I take the time to explain recommendations clearly and help patients understand both what we are doing and why.

Ultimately, I want patients to leave Water Tower Dental Care not only with a healthier smile, but also feeling confident about the decisions they’ve made for their dental health.

Life Outside the Office

Outside of dentistry, staying active is an important part of my life. I enjoy strength training, Pilates, cycling, and trying different workout classes throughout Chicago—so don’t be surprised if you run into me at one of the city’s studios.

My husband, Zubair, and I also love traveling and exploring Chicago’s restaurant scene together.

Having grown up in the Chicago area, I feel incredibly fortunate to have built my career here. It is an honor to care for the community I love, and I look forward to building lasting relationships with patients at Water Tower Dental Care.
